Great Awakenings is for women in all stages of life. We come together to connect with other women, share a delicious breakfast, have some fun, and look at life issues from a Biblical perspective. Our desire is to encourage women to know and live for Christ. Our speakers are women like you who have seen the power of the gospel work in their own lives, and want to share their stories with you. There's also time to interact about the ideas of the morning in a smaller group, and a book table that offers resources to find out more. Whether you are a church veteran or new to all this, we hope you'll feel at home. 

We meet 9:30-11:30 a.m. one Saturday per month from October-May. Enter through the back door of the church, and you'll see someone from our welcoming team. We look forward to meeting you. Click here for this year's topics and dates.

Cross Connections

At Cross Connections, moms with children from birth through kindergarten connect "mom to mom." You'll enjoy a light snack, friendly conversation and fun activities. You'll be encouraged and supported as you discover how God's word speaks to us as moms. Our speakers are both young and seasoned moms who share their struggles, triumphs and practical advice with us. And you'll have a chance to interact on the morning's talk within a small group. Come as often as fits your schedule and feel free to invite other moms.

What about your children? They may have more fun than you do! In Kid Connections, located on our lower level, they'll be loved, fed, read and sung to, do crafts, play games and learn a Bible lesson with other children their age. Kid Connections is available starting at 8:45 a.m.

Cross Connections meets at the church 9:00-11:00 a.m. one Monday per month from September-May. Enter through the back door of the church, and check your children into Kid Connections. R&R (Rejoicing & Requesting)

At Christ Memorial, R&R means “rejoicing & requesting.” It’s an evening just for women to share our lives and pray for one another and for our church. R&R meets periodically on Monday nights. Check the calendar for this year's dates.

Fall Breakaway

Our new women's ministry year kicks off with the annual Fall Breakaway. It's our opportunity to get away from the routine of life, reflect on God's word, connect with other women, and be refreshed. Click here for 2010 Breakaway information.

Christmas Breakfast

Before you plunge headlong into the Christmas season, pull up a chair at our annual Ladies Christmas Breakfast. There’ll be carolers singing, and carols to sing. You can jump-start your shopping at our expanded book and CD table. And our speaker will remind you about the true reason for the season. The Ladies Christmas Breakfast takes place the first Saturday of December at a local hotel.

The 2010 breakfast will be held Dec. 11th. Watch for details.

Investigative Bible Studies

Maybe you’ve never opened a Bible. Maybe you have, but some of it doesn’t make sense, and you want a safe, comfortable place to ask your questions. Whether you’re starting to dig or wanting to dig deeper into God’s Word, the Ladies’ Investigative Bible Studies are for you. We meet for three weeks in the spring.
