For The Children

Attention: open in a new window. PrintE-mail

On Sundays, the lower level of our building is alive with children. Here's what's happening.

Nursery (Infant-Kindergarten)

Throughout the service, infants are lovingly cared for, played with, sung to, rocked and read to. For toddlers and preschoolers, there's also an age-appropriate Bible lesson and time to release some energy in our gym.

When you arrive, you’ll sign your child into the nursery and give any special instructions to the adult in charge. Then you’re free to head upstairs to the worship service. And don’t worry - if your child cries inconsolably, we’ll come find you.

The nursery is located on the lower level of the church building (see map below).

Nursing Moms

The Cry Room is a private nursing area with a video feed of the service located at the base of the stairwell off the front entryway (see map below).

Discovery Classes (Grades 1-6)

During the sermon, children in grades 1-6 meet in our Discovery Classes. Classes start with all the children gathered in the Youth Room located in the lower level of the parsonage next door to the church. There they'll sing and review the basics of the Christian faith through the catechism. Afterwards, teachers lead the children to their classrooms in the lower level of the church (see map). Discovery lessons follow the same Bible series as the sermon, but the teaching is geared for each age group.
